We’re a local family raising two little ones under two. As children of immigrants, family celebrations have always meant more to us than decorations or a perfect photograph—they’re how we gather, show love, and create the memories our children carry with them.
When our son Hayes’s first birthday was approaching, we wanted to give him something truly special. Like many first-time parents, we weren’t exactly sure what that should look like. We only knew how much he loved climbing, exploring, and playing in the homemade cardboard ball pit we had created for him.
That little ball pit sparked a bigger idea. We imagined a beautiful space where he could crawl safely, tumble onto soft shapes, and discover everything at his own pace. Soon, one ball pit became cushioned mats, gentle climbing pieces, and a complete little world built just for toddlers.
We created Soft Meadows Co. to help other parents make those joyful early birthdays feel special—without having to source, transport, clean, arrange, and store an entire play space themselves. We bring the setup. You stay present for the celebration.
